FTI is looking for an experienced and highly skilled SharePoint Specialist to provide a full range of on-site IT support for Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC). The primary focus of this position will be SharePoint and Power Apps Development for multiple MS365 Tenants across the SWSC enterprise. This position will also focus on serving as the Video Teleconferencing / Teams Coordinator for the Newport SWOS Schoolhouse.

• SharePoint and PowerApps Developer:
• Collaborates with the software development team to establish and build upon processes allowing for business prioritization and automation.
• Responsible for obtaining requirements, understanding requirements, and creating Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Creating and maintaining lists, libraries, sites in Microsoft 365 SharePoint.
• Manages the security of ACLs, security groups for SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries.
• Training and/or developing training for involved stakeholders on custom and standard SharePoint solutions as configured for their roles.
• Create PowerBI visualization from files, libraries, and lists hosted within the SharePoint site collections.
• Video Teleconferencing / Teams Coordinator
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of video conferencing systems, including Microsoft Teams, in support of business execution, training and educational sessions, meetings, and events.
• System Setup & Maintenance by configuring video conferencing systems, including microphones, cameras, and collaboration software and collaborate with external IT support teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal teleconference performance.
• Provides technical support for and resolving any troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connections for video conferencing equipment, Microsoft Teams, and network connectivity.

• Required
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform: Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in the design, delivery, updating, and administration of enterprise IT systems within Microsoft 365 to include SharePoint. 
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies such as: Windows Hello for Business, Intune, Security Center, Defender for Endpoints.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet project due dates and milestones as well as the ability to collaborate with the broader IT team as needed.
  • Strong technical knowledge of and experience with installing, upgrading, configuring, and deploying IT applications in an on-prem and cloud hosted hybrid environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, video conferencing platforms, and remote communication technologies.
  • Knowledge of video streaming protocols, web conferencing tools, and remote learning technologies.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site at SWSC customer location in Newport, RI.
    
• Preferred
  • Microsoft PL-400 or PL-600 certification on Power Platform
  • Microsoft MS-700 certification as Teams Administrator Associate
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing or supporting video teleconferencing systems, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience in a military or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Surface Warfare Officers School operations or similar training institutions.
